In our most loving memory of Cashmere Leclaire Langston who went home to be with our lord
on April 17th, 2021. Cashmere L Langston gained his wings, a loving father, son, brother and
uncle. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Jordan Temple Baptist Church.
Cashmere was born on January 22nd, 1986 in Chicago, Illinois to Sheila Nance and Cashmere
Langston. He attended Charles E Hughes Elementary School where he received his 8th grade
diploma. He continued his education at Farragut High School and Tilden High School, he
received his GED at New Birth Christian Center.
Cashmere aka Cash had a passion for working with kids and most importantly playing sports.
He also loved to clean up, listen to music and help out in the community. Cash enjoyed working
with children and keeping everyone busy with sports. He combined his favorite hobbies to
create an extraordinary and safe community for everyone. He was known for his infectious
smile, playing many sports, his kind and compassionate spirit.
Cashmere was a loyal person, he showed everyone love, from the kids to adults. Even
individuals he didn’t know, he welcomed everyone as his own. He was a father at all times. He
made sure everyone stayed out of trouble. He made sure everyone was playing sports. He was
talented in many things, he had gifts that only he possessed. He will truly be missed by
everyone because he touched a lot of hearts of numerous people. His name and his legacy will
carry on because of his daughter and loving family.
Cashmere was preceded in death by his Father, Cashmere Langston, his grandmother,
Geraldine Nance, Uncle, Carzel Spencer, Nephew, Denzell Dixson. His is survived by his
Mother, Shelia Nance, Daughter, Camerah Langston, Sister, November Langston, Shanika
McDaniel, Brothers, Davion Hoy, Diangelo Atkins, Leonard Herring, Nephew, Derrick Miles,
Nieces, Amarielle and Amarianna Dixson, Great Nieces, Amiyah McCoy, Akali Miles, Great
Nephew, Farro Becton Jr, Antonio O’Neal, Girlfriend, Ceneca Freeman, Step Sons, Dajuan
Sanders, Marquis Sanders and Uncle, Orhan Nance. Loving Family, Cousins and Friends.
