Dennis Dante Crowder(Pooch) was born November 27, 1978 in Chicago, Il. to Dennis Brunt and Vickie Crowder.
Dennis attended Krieger high school(Class of 97), briefly attended Harold Washington College and worked for Pequod's as a recieving clerk.
Dennis enjoyed watching the NBA, 80s movies, cartoons, playing video games and collecting lots of booze. He was a private person but he was also altruistic. One of his favorite quotes was, "I learned to give not because I have much, but I know exactly how it feels to have nothing."
Dennis passed away June 23, 2020, and while his life seems too short to some, those who knew him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which he lived.
Dennis is survived by his father Dennis; children Latrell and Makayla; brothers Darvese and David; sisters Tenesha, Kiyanna (Geoffrey) Redfield, Shanika, Shena and Crytal; grandfather Moses; grandmother Florence and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, special friends and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother Vickie; grandmother Johnny Will; grandfather Jimmie(Bud) Brunt and uncle Kyzel.
