Sandra was born May 7,1961 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Vela F. Logan and Father Richard
Chunn of Brinkley, Arkansas. Sandra was preceded in death by her Mom Vela Logan,
Grandparents; Dan and Ardelia Solomon, Nephew; Cory Solomon, Cousins; Barbara Jones and
L.C. McDowell, Brother in law; Manky, Sister; Sherry Veasley, Uncle and Aunt; Buster and
Vernice Solomon and her Best Friends; Sadie Mae Randle and Marie Livingston.
Sandra was the Third of Six Children (All Girls)
Sandra accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Christian Love M.B. Church under
the leadership of her Pastor Rev. B.T. Smith where she Sang in the choir. Sandra rededicated her
life in Christ and joined Temple of Life Church presently known as Faithlife Church up under
the pastorship of Bishop Al Reese where she attended until her death.
Sandra attended Beidler Elementary, Morton U.G.C. and John Marshall High School in Chicago,
IL She went to Brinkley Arkansas to stay with her Grandparents for a couple of years where she
attended Marion Anderson School.
Sandra worked for Enterprise Car Rental for many years and gained longtime friendships with
her Enterprise family. Sandra last place of employment was Lakeview Bus Line where she
worked as a personal driver until her death.
Sandra was the most Loving and caring person. She was the clown, entertainer, and provider of
our family. She missed her calling as being a comedian. She kept everybody and we mean
everybody laughing. Sandra had no filter with her mouth, she was the one to call when we
needed to have someone put in place ( No Filter Sandra) Lol. We would always joke about San
having a whole football team of Grandkids.
“San” as we lovingly called her loved her kids, Grands and GreatGrands with all her heart, Heck
San loved all of us the same. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially the Kids. Every
Christmas every Kid in the family had a gift from San. Sandra had a heart of Gold. San loved to
eat, She enjoyed going on outings with her Sisters to enjoy movies, Dining, Laughter and love
spending time together. Sandra was a loyal friend, A fashionista and a Sexy Mama-Cita Lol She
loved to dress and shop.
Sandra had just returned from a family trip where she traveled to Brinkley Arkansas, Little Rock
Arkansas, and Eudora Arkansas where she got to spend time with her Dad, Sisters, brother and
various family members from different states. Sandra was loved by many and she had a loving
soul.
Sandra will be missed by many who she shared a special bond with. On Monday evening, June
21, 2021 Our Lord and Savior whispered in Sandra’s ear and called her home with open arms.
Sandra became absent from the body and present with the lord.
Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memories in the hearts of her seven children-Sons, Darrell
(Nella), James, Daughters; Shannon, Waukesha, Ardelia (Maurice), Jamesa all of Chicago,
Illinois and Alesa of Salt Lake City, Utah Twenty Grandkids, Four Great Grandkids Father;
Richard Chunn (Barbara) of Brinkley, Arkansas, Sisters; Glenda (Walt) of Rockford, Illinois,
Beverly, Lafaye, Alleda, Lisa, Linnette, all of Chicago, I’ll Kathryn Veasley of Little Rock,
Arkansas, Ann Chunn, Toria Beasley of Brinkley, Arkansas, Mary Reed (Jeff) of Chicago, I’ll
Cynthia Stubblefield of Louisville Kentucky, Beverly Flax, Ternell Lessard, Karen Burtin, Mary
Leon of Brinkley Arkansas and Brenda Pulliam of Atlanta Georgia Brother; Rick Chunn of
Atlanta Georgia and Anthony Broadway of Brinkley, Arkansas, Devoted longtime Friend;
Tyrann Robinson of Villa Park, Illinois Devoted Mother in law; Ms. Nelson Aunts; Joyce
Lomax, Flora (Ray) McGhee of Chicago,IL San’s #1 Priority, the special love of her life, her
pride and joy, Her Dog-D.O.G. who’s going to truly miss his Mom San.. A host of Nieces,
Nephews, Cousins and friends and her Faithlife Church Family. Sandra will be Tremendously MISSED.
