Dwayne Avery Cook Jr was born on December 4, 1988 in Chicago, IL to the proud parents of Felicia Pointer and Dwayne Avery Cook Sr, Dwayne was the oldest of five children.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his father: Dwayne Sr, grandfather: Leroy Edwards, Grandmother: Ozie cook and nephew: Joesph Scott
Dwayne was affectionately known as Waynie, Wayne Wayne, Weezy and Big Fella
Dwayne accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior under the direction of Pastor Charlie W. Shelton (Word of God Life Changing Ministry C.O.G.I.C)
Dwayne attended George Henry Corliss High Dwayne held different jobs where he met and touched the lives of many people.
In 2017 he married the love of his life Cassandra Lee and to this union, his splitting images were born one son Avery Dwayne Cook, and one daughter Armani Diane Cook.
If you encountered Dwayne in any way, he would keep you laughing with his constant jokes and his contagious laughter. Dwayne was a great host when it came to family gatherings and he would always come through the door with some type of meat ready to barbeque or fry and in the other bag he would have his zoom zooms and wham whams (chips and candy). Before the night was over he ended up at the card table talking smack, taking and losing money. Dwayne was a great father and husband and he would find a way out of no way to make things happen for them.
Dwayne leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Cassandra, two kids: Avery & Arman, His Mother Felicia Pointer ( Jim Williams) , three sisters: Donna Cook, Delicia Cook and Diamond Cook and one brother: Darion Grisby, two nephews: Jo’Shawn and LaShawn, two nieces Jaliyah and Alana, Grandmother Diane Pointer,A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
