Ronald Steele made his debut into the world on July 10, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois to the proud parents
of Lillie Mae Steele and Lamont Coleman. Ronald went home to be with his heavenly Father on June 18,
2022.
Celebrating the Spiritual One
Ronald wasn’t a member of one specific church, but he was a true servant. The value of having a
relationship with Jesus Christ was instilled in him at a very young age. That reflection was displayed in
the way he loved, served and encouraged others. He had a special love for children.
Celebrating the Student
Ronald attended John Marshall H.S. on the westside of Chicago. He was known for wrestling and
football. He also attended Washburne Trade School for Automotive Mechanics.

As a son, Ronald was his mother’s first child. He always demonstrated his love for his mom and was very
concerned about her wellbeing. He was extremely grateful for her unwavering commitment to the
family.
Left to Cherish his memory is his Mother Lillie Steele.
As a grandson, Ronald was highly favored. He was the pride and joy of his grandparents Floyd and Marie
Steele. He inherited their love for cooking, his grandmother’s green thumb and grandfather’s easy-going
manner.
As a brother, Ronald was committed to family. He was the family mechanic, car washer and handyman.
Ronald shared a special bond with Vanessa as the eldest girl. In typical big brother fashion, he was
bossy, but had a heart of gold.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Verna Agboola (Kazeem), Aqua Robins (Mark) and James
Smith (Irish).
As a father, Ronald was the epitome of a girl dad. He fathered three beautiful girls. He was extremely
affectionate toward them. it was never beneath him to cook, wash clothes or comb hair.
Left to Cherish his memory are his children Takara aka Pooh Cat, Niambia aka Baby girl and Jaquera aka
big baby.
As a grandfather, Ronald was overjoyed with his grand girls, they meant the world to him.
Left to cherish his memory are his granddaughters Layla Jackson and Ja’onna Watkins.
As an uncle, Ronald was the best. His nieces and nephews were his favorites. He managed to have a
special relationship with all his nieces and nephews making everyone feel special.
Special Acknowledgement to His great nephews Camryn and Marqell aka Bob who he developed a
special bond with.
Left to cherish his memory are an abundance of nieces and nephews.
As a nephew, Ronald was beloved. He was like a little bother to his uncles. They all had a shared love for
cars and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his Uncles William Steele and Ollie Peel (Sandra).
As a cousin, Ronald was the all-around good guy. He loved his family and shared a special bond with his
cousin Tony Cole.

As a friend, Ronald was loyal, encouraging and supportive in every way. Special acknowledgement to his
